Geography

Our Key Stage 4 department at St. Wilfrid’s RC College follows Eduqas GCSE Geography. The specification is up-to-date and combines traditional Geography with new material and skills relevant to anyone growing up in an ever changing world. Fieldwork is an essential aspect of geographical education and it is placed at the heart of this specification where it is embedded within the programme of study. Core topics include Landscapes and physical processes, Rural-urban links, Weather, Climate and Ecosystems, Development and Resource Issues. The optional topics we teach are Tectonic Landscapes and Hazards and Social Development Issues.
