Following the progression of the post holder into the Trust Standards Team, applications are invited from practising and committed Catholics for the post of Headteacher at St Wilfrid’s R.C. College.
We are looking to appoint an inspiring Headteacher who will build on our current strengths and continue to develop and enhance all aspects of school life. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a committed leader and must be able to demonstrate that they have significant experience of leadership at a senior level.
The successful candidate will lead St Wilfrid’s in inspiring and developing all members of the community on a journey through faith and learning. At St Wilfrid’s we strive to achieve excellence and overcome challenges through mutual respect and consideration whilst our workload charter sets the tone for what we stand for as a Trust and sets out our commitment in relation to staff workload and wellbeing. St Wilfrid’s R.C. College is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust which is one of four Trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust includes five Secondary and twenty five Primary Schools across South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham.
