Duke Of Edinburgh

About

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is the world’s leading youth achievement award, giving millions of 14-24-year olds the opportunity to be the best they can be.

All staff who will deliver the Award are appropriately qualified and have vast experience of delivering DofE expeditions throughout the UK. All are approved as expedition supervisors/assessors by the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

St Wilfrid’s are offering students the opportunity to sign up for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award in Year 9, and the Gold Award in Year 12. If you are interested in taking part, the registration for Bronze Award will take place in the Summer term of Year 8, whilst Gold Award registration takes place during the Autumn term of Year 12.

Students will be required to complete a short application form to secure their place, explaining why they believe they are a strong candidate and have the commitment needed to achieve their Duke of Edinburgh award.
